Introducing VIVIxxROMOxx001, a capsule within our greater SS26 “SCARAB” collection, this philosophy finds new form through the use of ROMO heritage textiles reimagined as sculptural, wearable art by VIVIERS.

Established in 1902 in England, ROMO is celebrated for timeless prints and craftsmanship. Now, upholstery fabrics from across their ranges are transformed by VIVIERS into garments that blur interiors and fashion, heritage and experimentation.

When luxury interiors meet avant-garde fashion, fabrics move beyond the home into bold, tactile works of art. Sculptural silhouettes play with contrast: soft and structured, classic and experimental, grounded in natural fibres and a shared devotion to artisanal craft. Here, a jacket may carry the DNA of a chaise longue; a dress the essence of a wallpaper’s pattern. Each becomes part of a new cultural exchange between ROMO and VIVIERS.

What once lived in the home now lives on the body, an unfolding dialogue between inside and outside, fibre and form. Each piece, handmade in our Johannesburg studio and one of a kind, is both garment and mantra: a reminder that stillness within unlocks the power to co-create the world we wish to inhabit.
